Program Leader: Rev. Von Clemans
Early Bird Registration until June 30th Register TODAY!
Using his recent trip to Jerusalem, Rev. Von Clemans will help us prepare for Lent by looking at the historical context of what was going on at the time that led up to Jesus' arrest, prosecution, and crucifixion. Walk with Jesus through the last days of his life, from Palm Sunday, to Good Friday, to Easter Sunday. Using the Gospel of Mark as a guide we'll look at the details of each day to discover their meaning for our time. You will also see photos of modern Jerusalem and get a sense of where these events happened. Recommended Book: The Last Week, Borg & Crossan, Harper Collins Publishers
APCE Leadership Panel
An exciting element of this retreat is that we will have the Past President of APCE (Rev. Von Clemans), the current President of APCE (Holly Inglis), the President-Elect of APCE (Dr. Ken McFayden) with us for a panel on Tuesday afternoon. Among the topics will be the future of Sunday School & Faith Formation and the work of APCE. Once you register we will send you an email giving you the opportunity to suggest a topic/question for the panel.
